current accounts can be
opened in the name of
an individual, a limited
company, sole proprietorship
and club/society/association/trust.
It must be noted that
clients can not only open
current accounts in Kenya
Shillings but also in
Foreign Currency for which
proof of forex income
must be submitted.
The
minimum balance for current
accounts is Kshs. 20,000.00
for local currency accounts
and USD/EUR 500 for foreign
currency accounts.
