- Savings
A/Cs denominated in
USD and UAE Dirhams
(AED) are opened.
- Minimum
balance to be maintained
will be USD 100 and
AED 250.
- Interest
on USD and AED is fixed
at 1.5 %.
- Interest
will be paid quarterly
on a minimum monthly
balance. Minimum interest
payable per quarter
will be USD 5 or equivalent.
- Accounts
will be opened only
in the name of individuals/charitable
organizations. Savings
accounts will not be
used for business/commercial
purposes.
- Only
2 withdrawals per month
will be permitted.
- No
Cheque book to be provided.
- Failure
to maintain minimum
balance/permitted number
of withdrawal per month
will result in no interest
being paid for that
month.

in USD, GBP, EUR and

premature withdrawal
will be permitted.
- Loan
will be granted against
security of the deposit
up to 75% of the face
value. Loan will be
at the discretion of
the Bank at a mark up
of 3% over the deposit
rate if availed in the
currency of the deposit.
The applicable rate
for secured overdraft
will be charged if availed
in Kenya Shillings.
Foreign
Currency accounts will
be opened only on proof
of forex income (requirement).
